Here we are all ready
For the pet parade to start
Just look at those faces
Don’t they capture your heart?

The kittens are cute and cuddly
The puppies are so sweet
To watch the pets and owners
Is really quite a treat

You can watch the older pets
Prance right down the road
They listen to their owners
And do just what they’re told

They’re on their best behavior
Well, at least you know they try
There may be meowing and barking
Some of them are pretty spry

Come take your places folks
The parade’s about to start
You don’t want to miss a minute
Everyone will do their part!
