Out Of Frying Pan Or Lion's Mouth Scenarios

who in 2020s would be willing to die for the Lord their God?
three endured a fire furnace rather than worship false idols
four men walked loose in the furnace one like the Son of God?
one endured cast into a lions' den rather than not pray to his God
God sent an angel to shut the lions' mouths Daniel was innocent?
God sent his son to death on a cross that we may have eternal life?

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Split image from the poem 'Constantly Topping World Best Seller List', by the poet Terence George Craddock. Theme: The power of a book, Bible influences. Referenced Daniel 3: 1-30, Daniel 1: 1-28, Romans 6: 23 and Romans 8: 3. I was going to theme a poem linking Christians killed in the Roman Arena, with Jews killed in Russia then Nazi Germany and Christians killed in Communist Russia and China as a piece on targeted religions persecuted; but foreshadowed two ancient sources of willing martyrs instead. Written in May 2016 on the 2.5.2016.
