Out Of The Blue Poem by Tabitha abner

Out Of The Blue

Under the ocean floor, so deep and blue.
I hide my deepest feelings for you.
On the shoreline above the sand.
Me and you are just the same; only friends.
Somehow out of the blue.
I need to tell; that I love you.

A thousand miles away.
Under the distant sand below.
My love for you does nothing but glow.
I need to come up for a breath of air.
Out of the ocean blue.
To tell you; that I love you.

I'm swimming closer to shore.
The miles between us are growing near.
I've been drowning in this misery.
My head's above the water for good.
I take your hand in mine.
Knowing it's the right time.

My feet are on top of the sand.
As I gladly take your hand.
The water below us as we walk.
I come out and say it to.
Out of the blue, 'I love you.'
