Outward Appearance Poem by Edwina Reizer

Outward Appearance

A time to sweat,
a time to fret
over something that you’ve done,
makes that act
the repentful fact
that dishonesty had won.

A time to glow,
a time to crow
over something you have done,
makes that act
the respectful fact
that honesty had won.
