Over Show Goodness Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

How can you over show goodness?
By showing good smiles on flat face
by showering sweet words in return
Or simple gesture of in appreciation in turn

Well, I loved all my friends in particular
The treatment and warmth almost similar
As they presented so much love and closeness
I had no means to go in depth and trace

One such female friend was so much talkative
But kind at heart and very much subjective
Her grasping sense was quick and seemed very active
I had no hesitation in choosing her and be selective

She had troubled marriage and had to part
But fought valiantly when her husband preferred to depart
She lost no heart instead stood ground well
All children brought up well and now different story to tell

Some hard lines could still be seen on her face
She almost won single handedly in the race
Same figure may always stand high in public domain
She may be recognized as another name for gain

Despite all troubles she has great and caring heart
We can consider it as invisible but tough art
Many may not offer smile even after great persuasion
To have cordial and good relation is ruled out of question

I am fond of such persons who have some ideals
They need good care, soft spoken words in real
No artificial assuage and heart touching gesture
Then it will be assumed as very correct for sure

I may not demand any thing unexpected
As sometimes it may be angrily reacted
But some smooth response is already offered
Only it needs to be firmly and precisely answered

It is good if something is not said at all
Else it may be considered as bad manner and call
Who knows what it can bring about or spell as?
Both the sides of fears and probabilities it has
