Overflowing Poem by JoAnn McGrath

My words keep overflowing
I think I'm on a roll
My emotions I'm expressing
are from deep within my soul

Even though sometimes the write
may seem written by a child
I may not have the eloquence
that others have compiled

I like this new feeling that
I have deep down inside
A new bounce is in my step
I no longer have to hide

Gone is my blue period
Now I'm in fuchsia
