Overwhelmed - Poem by Ana guzman

Have you ever sat to wonder how your life could get any worse
Its like someone looked at you and cast a curse
Just the fact that youy try to make everything right
Your left there all alone to cry at night
Never letting anyone in your heart
Because all they'll find is a whole lot of dark
Sitting there putting on a fake smile
When your alone you cry for a long while
Trying to fit in with the right crowd
Just to make your parents proud
Not ever in the same place for a long time
So your left to walk around like an unknown mime
Saying your sorry for dropping out of school
They all point fingers and call you a fool
Telling you your not stable you need meds
Without knowing exactly how i feel, ya are the speds
Turning to drugs and beer
When they're screaming turn around and steer
You block out all the sound
Just as you hit the ground
