Overwhelming Poem by Ronald Chapman

Overwhelming

Standing in our past,
On the banks of the great river Daesu,

Watching cherry blossoms,
Crying in the Moonlight,

Waiting for the pink bloom,
Of Sunrise,

Very overwhelming!
Are, My thoughts of you;

Thoughts of moonlight shining brightly,
In your dark eyes,
Thoughts of wavy hair, blowing in a cool spring breeze,
Lips so sweet, like cherries,

Reflections from forever lovers,
Ripple beneath our feet,
Flowing across time and space,

Tears of happiness fall,

As we stand here,
On the banks of the great river Daesu,
Holding on tightly,

Making wishes,
And seeing glimpses of eternity.
