His neck is twisting around

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I saw one on our granery when I was young. I walked around it to see what would happen. It turned it's neck about 3/4 of the way, then whirled it around the other way so it could still see me.

Looks to me as if the owl is on a fence post instead of a barn, but it certainly is a beautiful owl. I know from experience that it's not always easy to find the right picture to go with a poem. Good job. An easy fix would be change it to: Owl on top of post etc. I have made changes to my own poems to go with the pictures I had. For example, in my limerick Lad from Monroe, he originally dropped a steel bar on his toe, but I didn't have a picture of steel bar, so I changed it to something else (a tool box) . By the way, I just changed the picture yesterday on another limerick (Don't go out on a limb, Rick) and I think the new picture is hilarious. See what you think.
