Own Value Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

Own Value

Own value

move between heaven and earth
has its own added value's worth

you drive a Mercedes
like a real princess,

or watch the Honda
there you'll see Prince Fujiyama,

but nothing beats the race-streets
of the competing cars
in the narrow streets
of crowded Monaco
oh, oh

Monte Carlo has its own allure
scintillating near the Cote d'Azur,

life is great here
but very expensive, my dear

let me keep my amateur competitions
in my own Zandvoort aan Zee traditions

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Amateurs race in Monaco too, but better to drive in own race-circuit in Zandvoort-aan-Zee, in this Dutch circuit is the circuit bigger, less accidents but for a cozy going-out is Monte Carlo the best option, near the Cote d'Azur, the weather is mild and easeful, this is one of my many hobbies. Thank you for reading and your feedbacks, best regards from Sylvia Frances Chan
