Imagine yourself in a corner
In B.C. where river, pristine
Is in the wavy season
When fishes are massive
Swimming, heading home
To lay eggs…
There sky is the host
To eagle, majestic…
An azure background
Like stones, Badakhshan's
Used in the Cathedral
Of Peter, in Russia…
The sun rays are golden;
Mesmerised, you observe
The scene, with jaw fallen…
Bird's wings are spread;
Romantic its kingdom
With a tail that seldom
Moves to right or to left
To change the direction…
And the head is crowned,
And gilded with sunshine;
Keeps looking all around…
Further and visible
Come a big grizzly bear…
Both one on flat land
And the king of skies
Openly head same way;
Both look at the river…
The fishes are busy
Swimming for living
In place they call home,
Suddenly, many end in claws!
