A Pacific lingcod fish, I
Am an omnivorous fish that
Will give all types of prey a try
That's in my ocean habitat.
I'll even chew on my own kind,
Ambushing them, I'm not pickish.
My mouth is full of teeth designed,
Making me a chew machine fish.
My jaw can open my mouth wide,
Where hundreds of teeth do await
For any prey I pull inside
To face a very biting fate.
While chewing, lots of my teeth go.
Twenty new teeth each day I grow.
