Pain Of Love Poem by Ndina Kamaro Muofhe

Pain Of Love

Walking on falling bridges
Trying to reach your desires
To fulfill, you bend to pick sand particles one by one
In the end, your heart still wears a frown
Tell me, was it worth it?

Walking on sun baked sands of the desert
In hope that you'd find an oasis
Yet, she never seem to be near
Do you think she feels the same way you do?

Though you are taught that patience is faith
But it's your feelings at stake here
Why'd you let her wreck them
When you know she is a Cinderella?
