Painting Air Light Energized Qualities Poem by Terence George Craddock

Painting Air Light Energized Qualities

an interest felt once stirred
in quality of air in paintings
as depicted by some artists
especially Leonardo da Vinci
purpose setting changing light
to imply signify meanings
in portraits murals landscapes
atmospheric illusionism

in background landscape
composite images merging
in mind portrait Mona Lisa

painters seeking luminous light
leaf focus Japanese painters
with perception capturing
breeze light colours reflecting
off small wind stirred tree leaves
in differing atmospheric conditions
