Pandemonium Poem by Amitava Sur

Pandemonium

Rating: 5.0

Are you all talking about
Truth and Justice today?
Oh' Gosh!
Feeling so sorry for not being informed that
Already they all have died sometimes back,
With no response anymore.

Somewhere there goes on Carnival with laughter
And somewhere they are found to be panicky,
Getting mingled all together thus
It's a pandemonium as on date.
Wherein some unscrupulous pimps and hoodlums
Are minting fortune in between,
Whereas Truth is abandoned and left out of sight,
Silently it is lying in a remote grave today!

And Justice? ?
That has become a clown today
For making fun under the hands of some
So called leaders and law makers!

Wow! A very intense poem, Amitava! Pandemonium is a superb title, you have described what's going on in our world very simply with a devastating truth set within your words. Striking explanation about Truth being abandoned and left lying in a grave. There are so many lies and illusions being strewn about by our politicians and governments that it's difficult to know what to believe. They have people going in circles so they can fulfill their agendas while people try to figure out what's going on. Excellent writing, Little One! Give this one a 10 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn
