Paper Rose - Poem by Victor Villota

A real beauty so remote
Only one who's been lost can see...
Majestic rose of illusive wonder
As love that need not be explained

Explicit like the ghost of Hamlet
Simple as the role of Juliet
Ancient writing sang by the bards
To emulate the beauty so beloved

Yet i ponder thee
For this rose that blossom...of effort
Cannot be plundered or exploit
Only to be cultivated by the lost
