Paradise Can Not Always Last Poem by Dawn Winters

Paradise Can Not Always Last

You come to a place that seems unreal,
A place that helps you openly feel,
No hiding here in Paradise,
The freedom is worth the price,
No friends, family, work, or school,
No drama here this is so cool,
To finally breath and feel alright,
Morning noon and all the night,
The pain you felt is now no more,
Your gaining control, your at the shore,
The shore that unravels paradise,
and makes your life truly nice,
But as all things must there comes an end,
Once more you turn back your close to normal again,
The echos of normal softly whisper in your mind,
You take a deep breath and look back one last time,
This amazing place is now in the past,
Fore sadly paradise can not always last

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Its not truly paradise as in a beautiful island, but it is a small town that I escape to so that I can just get away from the hustle of normal life. But like it says paradise can not last and I must return home..
