Paradise Island's far away, yet some day she must leave,
While Wonder Woman saves the day, accompanied by Steve!
But while she's here, love's dreams persist, for hugs and cuddles, too,
I only know she should get kissed! But then, that's love for you!
Determination, all along, defeats a thousand foes!
Togetherness helps make us strong, as that is how each grows!
Would young Drusilla fall in love and get swept off her feet?
Would guys who flatter care enough to make love seem so sweet?
Man's World has tricks she must discern, yet this was how she grew,
She'd ask herself each time to learn, ' What would Diana do? '
Drusilla, by the Queen, was sent to bring Diana home!
' Forget Steve and the President! Come back, no more to roam! '
Diana chose to stay a while, Drusilla at her side,
She won her over with that smile, that smile she could not hide.
Drusilla seldom had a clue in Man's World, so it seemed,
There was so much that she could do, in ways she never dreamed.
Her innocence could make Steve smile! So young yet full of heart,
Yet she improved, and with such style, so smart she played her part!
Her courage helped her do her best, to overcome each task,
And so Diana was impressed, much more than she could ask!

Here is another superhero-style poem by the Poemhunter poet Denis Martindale. The poem ' PARADISE ISLAND! ' is about Wonder Woman's sister, Drusilla, who visits her in America.
The ' PARADISE ISLAND! ' poem is a variation of the Drusilla poem ' WONDER GIRL! ' The Wonder Woman TV series shows how she could fly an invisible jet from Paradise Island to America. When she sees the powerful example of Wonder Woman, she decides to start her adventures, too. As soon as she changes into her super costume, she is on a mission! Actress Debra Winger co-starred with Lynda Carter to bring alive the two superheroines! The DC superhero TV shows have a catchphrase, 'Stronger Together! ' They do not have to fight alone! There is also time for romance, and that helps to explain why Wonder Woman has such a winning smile! We should not be surprised that Drusilla had to learn so much in Man's World before the superpowers of Wonder Girl made her sister, Diana, so proud.
