Parentless Child Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Parentless Child

Parentless child

It is too much to address in such manner
There may be countless children born here
Their fate, we know, is living hell
Yet god is great that they are brought so well

It is abuse to parent
When years later child resents
What did his father to mother?
And then blaming her too

It is story moment's pleasure
But think of agony and pain alter
The male deserts female
And female rears child

You are in this world
And certainly might have been told
About difference between fatherless
Or motherless

Some are fortunate enough
To enjoy warmth of parents to laugh
But some pass with great ordeal
Life seems very hard and cruel
