Parked In The Dark Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Parked In The Dark

Televised to dramatize,
A denial of the truth.
Many seek to the curb to boot.
Yet can not provide,
Reasons why...
They fear the facts.
And the substance that facts produce.
Choosing delusion to hoodwink and dupe.
For the money.
To empower their flaws.
Choosing delusion to hoodwink and dupe.
For the money.
To empower their flaws.
Keeping the blind in the dark.
With minds to stay there and kept parked.
Fed to feed on the deceptions.
Keeping the blind in the dark.
With minds to stay there and kept parked.
Fed to feed on the deceptions.
