Hiding behind the wall
I watch you walking away
till my eyes can follow.
I watch the imprints of your footprints on sand,
being washed away by, ebbing waters,
leaving just faded memories of their image.
Lifting my leg I erase memories
Of A relationship so shallow.
Turning my hand, I search,
for the lines drawn by fate,
looking at the lines and crosses,
I wonder about the lines of affinity,
have they been erased or
has God forgotten to draw?
TakinG a deep breath,
I decide to walk away,
I withhold a sigh of despair.
Shaking my head,
I leave sadness of parting on the way,
in search of new beginning.
