Passionate Plea Poem by Chandrashekar a posy poet

Passionate Plea

Rating: 5.0

Ever since,
My Love!
You left for another place
of choice;
My place too turned
so strange

Yeah,
Passionate Birds
Once we were
And Paradise was
Our only Nest

Myriad songs of
Rejoice and remorse
Were all heard with
Zest so high

Nothing to stop us
and absolutely nothing was
Amiss;
Amidst us

As many
We too walked
On furious fire and flowers fragrant;
Sailed through
Salient Seas and treacherous tornados
We even flied
Over celestial clouds
And traitorous thunders

Together,
My Dear!
All together
Un-moving, unshakable,
Hand-in-hand, sight-in-sight
Step-in-step and
Breathe-in-breathe
Was all indeed
A dainty sojourn!

Be it beauty, or bliss
Be it peace, or perfect harmony
Be it pledge, or solemn promise
Be it love, or tender caress
Was bestowed upon in affluence

Be it any place
My Lord!
No matter where
On Earth or Heaven!
Sans my presence
For sure;
you will be
As strange as me
As solitary as me
