Past Life Remembrance: My Immortal Soul Poem by Paula Glynn

Past Life Remembrance: My Immortal Soul

I'd been a beggar on the dirty streets of London
The old Victorian ways stale and terrible
The workhouse for the supposed unlucky
The government wanting order and efficiency
The poor condemned to sadistic slavery
Others forced to beg on the mean streets of London.

My second incarnation as a brave soldier
The first world war in action with many strong men
Wielding my shoot-to-kill guns and other weapons
Seeing the bloodshed and feeling angry and sick
Bruised, battered and tortured every bloody day
The war harsh on every soldier and their loving families.

My third time around on God's planet
Being a popular teacher in a secondary school
The 1970's a decade of change of social structure
Social successes, services and attitudes improved
Moving the world into the glorious and unknown future
Where one day there would be my personal computer.

My fourth time on a forever spinning blue and green earth
I see the planet from the vacuum of outer space
I travel the mysterious galaxy in my NASA spaceship
I reside on the International Space Station
I being beyond the hell of below the earth
Every life I lived written in legends: in poetic text.

My soul immortal and my heart with only love
I enjoyed every life and moments my lives gave me
Where my rainbow soul learnt to be emotionally free
My gender male but there are no issues with women
For women gave me immortal life knowing I'm a master
And as I die for the last time there is no demonic price.
