Past The Masks, There Lies Poem by Mohammad Younus

Past The Masks, There Lies

Past the masks, there lies
Your real self inside.
Walk through the corridors
of memory, shadows, and dreams
of your life in Eden.

Take this journey inward—
venture into your own self,
plumb the depths of your being.
In the quiet of self-discovery,
come to know yourself as you truly are.

Strip away the robes of illusion,
the burdens of expectation,
the weight of the world's demands.
Find that quiet corner within
where truth waits in stillness,
where your real self resides.

It is more than beauty—
It is essence, undisturbed and pure,
the dreams you've cherished,
made real, made yours.

Sit in divine silence;
let it wash over you.
Feel the pulse of your divine being,
the rhythm of your heart.
And in that sacred stillness,
understand: you are the real.

Your consciousness revived,
it will whisper to you:
What you are now,
What you were in eternity.
And in that sacred space,
deep within your soul,
you'll find divine wisdom
to know who you truly are.

Know yourself,
not as the world sees you,
but as you are—the unfiltered truth—
a being in God's image.
Awaken to the quiet dawn
of your existence,
hidden within, yet waiting.
