' ' ' ' ' Pathetic Fallacy(For Byran)

Rating: 2.8

The sky is lonely

stands aloof from
its clouds

that look like
two stuck on cotton wool balls.

Quietness leaks
into the scene

staining it
the colour of forever.

A willow weeps
to itself.

A fountain sobs.

Sobs.

Such pathetic
fallacy

as if I were walking through
a text book of figures of speech

filled full
with striking examples.

I, however am
surprisingly happy.

A bird
thinking it's Duchamp or Dali

draws a quick moustache
with its fanciful flight

on the sky's startled
face.

Me & the lake
laughing.
