Paths Poem by james watkin

Paths

As far down, and as often
Me to foot them beseech
As wide-ranging have passed through
Personality of each.

From meekest, fern-cowled, a brook's
Unruffled peace hushed by
To what rough-ruggedly scale
Piny and loud sky-high.

Cool-drawn to one, whose calming
Leaves its residual trace!
While to the other, adventure's
Spirit does it embrace!
