Pause For Play

After the ease of the rhymes
ease and disease, requires and fires,
high and by, fall and wall, ray and day
and cause and laws,
succeeds and spreads*
gives pause for play.
For spreads I say spreeds
and try suck-seds
and sucks-heads for succeeds.
