Pay Tax Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Pay Tax

We all pay dearly
And yearly
The heavy taxes
But keep smile on faces

Yes it is inevitable
For common people
But still it is alright
As there are many who struggle even to eat

Those who have in abundance
Enjoy and celebrate the presence
But poor struggle daily for bread
He is almost dead

Let us pray God
For providing us good life, shelter and food
At least they benefit from our tax money
Be it so if we can help needy

Those who are starving
May be helplessly observing
The hurdle created by fate
But it is of no use to relate

Pay Tax
