Peace In Gandhi's Example Poem by Kimberly Burnham

Peace In Gandhi's Example

Peace is simple
like white light split by rough glass shines a diverse rainbow
in the soft worn fabric of Gandhi's example

A green sapling fights for a piece of the sky temple
reaching with fractals patterns through abundant blue flow
peace is simple

Instinct follows cooperate and survive with the world of the animal
a fuzzy brown fawn and doe cross urban roads with their eyes on the show
in the soft worn fabric of Gandhi's example

A cold mountain stream threads its way flowing ample
around hard sun soaked boulders slow
peace is simple

After a long day of fun, and work, and learning so social
a child eyes heavy with sleep and life grow
in the soft worn fabric of Gandhi's example

Waking up alive to see the light successful
the tree, the river, the child, and the doe
peace is simple
in the soft worn fabric of Gandhi's example
