the prophets spoke the word
the word was spoken blessed
the word was all life is blessed
the word was peace is blessed
the word was peace is sacred

because all life peace is sacred
blessed harvest prophets proclaimed
'all we are saying is give peace a chance'
then great John Lennon went forth proclaimed
peace not war in the name of victims persecuted
