My Mind now settled once again,
I’ve regained my ‘Peace-Of-Mind’,
How do I know ~ I am more sane,
Poetic Words run through my Mind.

I have not written for sometime,
Poetic Verses did not flow,
But now the Muse is back with me,
And my pen runs fast ~ not slow.

More settled in my way of Life,
The way from ‘The Pits’ is only ‘Up’,
I’ve taken all Life’s thrown at me,
It’s not the time to ‘Lie-Down’, but ‘Sit-up’.

No longer do I wish to dwell,
To wallow where once I fell,
A new Life lies ahead of me,
To Live it, lest I ‘Go to Hell’.

I’ve been given a ‘New Lease of Life’,
By HIM who Rules on High,
Grateful for HIS Aid to me,
Until my End on Earth draws nigh.
