Peaceful And Cool Poem by Akhtar Jawad

Peaceful And Cool

Rating: 5.0

Waiting for a day that never comes
Hoping for a night that is a dream
I know sun will never enter my room
Through a broken window I see a beam.

In a starry night a full moon is shining
I can look at stars twinkling on sky
Content with my share in the moon light
My wings are broken I cannot fly.

Watching the mermaids, is it an illusion?
Naughty fish in deceptive costumes!
I can see I can feel that's all for me
Isn't it enough, the exciting perfumes?

Flowers of a creeper too high for me
Lovely lotus but in a too deep pool
Content with artificial colorful flowers
Isn't it a wealth, I'm peaceful and cool.

Somehow to remain peaceful and happy is the sole pursuit of each man! If you have got this, you are indeed lucky! A beautiful poem......!

This is a gorgeous poem on old age having stunning expression. The last lines are most attractive... Flowers of a creeper too high for me Lovely lotus but in a too deep pool Content with artificial colorful flowers Isn't it a wealth, I'm peaceful and cool.
