Peaceful Terms Poem by Doris Cornago

Peaceful Terms

Rating: 5.0

Midnight
Bombs blow
Power struggle
As the color defines
And the victim whines
Discordant thought blinds
Emotion pitched by slogans
War is never a humane option
No destruction, no to abortion
Black is only a color, not white
Beliefs disengage to diverge
Colors vary in a sprectrum
Voices rise in conundrum
Turn left, turn right, but
Can we choose the
Middle stance
Coexisting
Peaceful
