A comfortable place behind closed doors...
a place where I have grown and matured
This is where I find myself to be complete
There is no other place like this for sure
This is where my surroundings take color
throughout the seasons… freezing cold
or blistering hot… always comforting to me
This is the place where I have grown old
My door is open to the chirping birds
It is open to floral fragrances from the hill
It welcomes the soft warm summer breezes
Today the door is closed to a sudden chill
A knocking at a door is heard only by one
With a murmur… acceptance is expressed
The arrival of death has appeared as foretold
Silence is in excess… as tears are suppressed
My heart is free… filled with tranquility
My weightless sin free soul is unfurled
Very soon a pristine place will be revealed
one with a window that oversees the world
