Peak Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Peak

Rating: 5.0

Minor strength holds the small seedling from the start;
Allowing it to be placed near the river.
Refreshing water wets the fertile soil's part;
Yearly fruits fill the branches that grow faster.

Radiant zenith of triumph shines at present
On oasis of birds neath the sky fulgent.
Sought as a warm shelter or sanctuary;
Even the leaves make it an elegant tree.
