Pearl Poem by Jarvis Black

Pearl

Rating: 5.0

The ocean waves rolled her,
pitched her brilliant smile
so close to mine
that my heart
nearly took up fins and gills
to swim for the deep.
Her brown hips peaked
like mountains lucid
against the ocean's urge.
Oh, but who can blame
the sea,
to want her so,
to drag her to it's depths?
Oh, the desire of
earth and man.
