very good poem! You are right. The oysters keep working hard quietly and we profit from their work. Apart from the oysters, people who harvest these pearls from the deep seas also suffer a lot of suffering and exploitation. They are made to work like slaves under sub-human conditions. When they are unable to work, they are simply dumped into the sea. This is as per an article I read recently.

Oysters are simple beings that are capable of producing the most valuable gems like the pearls. Likewise all great and valuable things are created and produced by real deserving and hard working people. A great message in atrue beautiful poem. loved it sallu.

Pearls are made from the oysters hard work. this is a hardwork no one sees or acknowledges. all little wonders of nature are like that..... they are simply there, they do their work and others profit from it. they go away silently. thank you for this thought provoking poem. tony
