Pearls Of Peace Poem by DEEPAK KUMAR PATTANAYAK

Pearls Of Peace

Rating: 5.0

Often we are awed;
By the strange silence
In the holy place
Be it Temple, Mosque or Church
In such a place
We feel a holy presence
And such a spell over souls
Swears God’s presence
I fill my sail o’ dreams
In search of Thee in silence
In Temple in holy place
Where sits the Holiest
And around Him moving the universe
He is not far away from us
We are to travel some distance
To explore Him within ourselves
And on finding Him in silence
Gives me profound spiritual powers
Strength into my own will
Peace into my heart
And truth into my soul
In silence His eternity
Flowing round my little isle
Of life divine and blissful.............

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

A thunderous trumpet that testifies of the presence of God. To experience His presence is to experience life and to experience it more abundantly.
