Upon the pearly gate
Many will pray and wait,
But, it will not be opened with hate
Not that one gate.
And if you hold onto a grudge
The gate will not move one nudge,
Not with a push or a budge
If you hold onto a grudge.
If you approach the gate with a lie
And to open the gate you hope and try,
The gate will not even pry
If you believe and trust in a lie.
If upon the gate you have knocked
Hoping it will be unlocked,
Which existence you once mocked
Many times you have knocked.
The pearly gates will stay closed
If admittance rules you had steadfastly opposed,
Unto hell, you will then be disposed
Those pearly gates will remain closed.
