Peculiar struggle
Friday,15th March 2019

Past memory hunts me
and makes me free
to think of early struggling days
and means employed to survive and stay

parents even though stayed poor
still, lived with honor
gave us no reason to feel worried
and carried on with their duty

the school days remind of peculiar struggle
even though fees were nominal in the school
I had to rush for its free sanction
and thus it was adding the concern

parents never thought of future days
and never expressed unhappiness
I could watch the satisfaction on their face
they didn't allow the misery to appear on the surface

yes, this aspect influenced me more
what a way of feeling and zeal to explore
the new avenues for the survival
we were brought up in the cordial atmosphere

it never affected my little mind
but could find
the love at the home and in the school,
this led me to think that I must work hard to be successful
