Peculiar This, To Ask Of Life Poem by james watkin

Peculiar This, To Ask Of Life

Peculiar this, to ask of life
Should we, in the first place
Have ever crossed its vast rooms'
Sparkly wonder; now glooms.

Like that of its guest, spoken
Whom grandly welcomed, was
As some high-ranked dignitary;
Curses his inadequacy.
