Penalty For Cutting In Line Poem by Ima Ryma

Penalty For Cutting In Line

I was next in line to check out.
There were lots of folks behind me.
And then a no no came about.
This lady showed up suddenly
In front of me, cutting in line.
I knew the supermarket rule.
Responsibility was mine.
I asked the folks behind me who'll
Join with me in purpose to teach
This lady a lesson not to
Be cutting in line, and so each
Prepared for line duty to do.

We all in line stayed pretty calm,
As we soup canned to death my mom.
