Its a mean 'ol wind that blows
and its a heavy rain that falls
upon the people of Puerto Rico
the storm has come
the storm has come
come and gone-
the hurricane destroying
everything in sight
the people of Puerto Rico
they aint got no water
no power no light

People of Puerto Rico
so unhappy
its easy to understand
Its so hard
to be happy
when everything you have
in the world is gone
that mean 'ol hurricane
left you nothing
and it destroyed your home!
