Perceptions Poem by Matt Starking

Perceptions

Rating: 3.7

I will rather rule my perceptions
Control my intuitions
Take responsibilities of my own actions
Than for you to rule my perceptions
Ruin me with your assumptions
And lead me to my destruction
No I will not grant you the permission
to rule my perceptions
For your imagination
Is your own creation

The freedom of thought, deed and action was what Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela fought for and won! Oppression is no longer tolerated. Great poem. Top score.
