Perpetuum Mobile Poem by Marieta Maglas

Perpetuum Mobile

Rating: 3.8

...In our waters of sadness
I laid myself on an illusory island of hope.
On the illusory island of hope
I was marooned, without your love.
Your love is haunted
By the shadow of my dream.
My shadow of dream echoed your laughter.
Your laughter was a falling curtain
Over my stage of feelings at nightfall.
My stage of feelings
Has deprived itself of any awareness light.
The awareness light was hidden
In a contractile shadowy pink sunset
Of our passionate relation.
Our passionate relation
Cracked its internal walls of faith.
The internal walls released a scream
In our waters of sadness.
In our waters of sadness
I lived on a meandering island of thoughts
On the meandering island of thoughts
I was marooned, without my love.
My love disappeared being digested
In your utopian dream.
Your utopian dream cavorted in a silvery laughter;
The silvery laughter was a falling curtain
Over the crevice of our ruined feelings at nightfall.
The crevice of our ruined feelings
Has deprived itself of any enlightening piety.
The enlightening piety was spread
In a contractile shadowy internal sunset
Of our life cycle.
Our life cycle
Cracked its pink walls of faith.
The pink walls released the blue scream
In our waters of sadness.....

Very well written poem full of feeling and fantasatic images. The pink wall of faith within cracked... Sublime.
