'' Persevere '' Poem by Bri Mar

'' Persevere ''

While trying to write,
Out goes the light,
I feel a blight,
In here.

Not creating,
I'm really hating,
Tired of waiting,
So unclear.

My mind is misting,
I'd say resisting,
My tongue is twisting,
It's austere.

I just don't know,
Where next to go,
Words won't flow,
No cheer.

Any assistance,
Dogged persistence,
Can't fight resistance,
It's severe.

I wonder why,
I can't comply,
There's no supply,
It's queer.

Mind in a lock,
I can't take stock,
It's writers block,
Wrong gear.

In my quest,
I do detest,
My minds at rest,
Such fear.

Feeling forsaken?
Remain unshaken,
It will reawaken,

‘' Persevere ‘'
