Pet Child Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Pet Child

Pet child

Where is my telescope?
-I need it
-have to find a scoop
-must remove my brain
-out of head
-and the eyes
-am tired of them all
-am tired
-so tired! ! !
-and tired! ! !
-even of the ears! ! !

Why should I see the dog?
-and woman?

Why should I think of them?
-and their way?

Why should write, rewrite?
-and arrange, rearrange?

Let the words, said, unsaid
-remain dead as they were
-do we not all come of
-not being, and go dead?
-let the words, ideas
-be ovules and sperms…
-don't let them turn to eggs

So what if young woman holds a leash?
So what if walks her dog, holding a plastic?
So what if seems to give everything?
So what if…?
So what if…?
So what if…?
Let it all be untold…

Yes of course now the dog is ruler
-important she is when defecates
-master is nothing but…
-and so what?
Yes they both are using the road side
-there, grass is sloped climbs high
-far ahead in front goes the dog

Suddenly moves woman with a whack
-sweet, soft, filled of love, she demands
-why should I think of all the women?
-why do I seem to say ‘this is them'?
-why do I think of it to of their nature?

Why is she in hurry and pulling suddenly?
-why did she talk to dog in raised voice:
-"Go, finish, we must leave! "

She must be deep in love with the dog
-why does she want the dog to rush now?
-would she do the same if dog was child?
-do women always want toys and dolls?
-is this in their nature to give love?
-to father, sibling or lover, child or dog?
-or maybe any pet like a cat?

Need scoop for brain and my eyes…
-why should I care at all?
-is it not sin of mind and the eyes?
-do women seek pity, need our compassion?
-why to think?
-am tired
-need scoop for brain and the eyes!
-is it right to say heart?

Her motions remind me of bottle of the pop
-shaken and full of gas
-does she need to release the bubbles?
-force myself to stop! ! !

So what if young woman holds a leash?
So what if walks her dog, holding a plastic?
So what if seems to give everything?
So what if…?
So what if…?
So what if…?
Let it all be untold!
