Talkative episodes of music,
giving chemical elements the right of
way as scents of livelihood fall down
around me in petals of silence.

Never beckoning me to leave, only to
remain here in a sphere of definition
all my own.

Caressing my mind, telling all emotions
to line up in single file, to continue
telling the stories that have been
deposited into my heart and soul.

Entering dimensions of yesterday's
tomorrow, escaping all the empty
promises given me through the years of
my life.
