Fantastic and well-packed verses. It's been a little long since I read 'multi-layered' poem like this from you. It seems to me you still hold free verse dear.Ha! I enjoyed all the different verses, though I doubt they deal with a single subject matter. Your anxiety is obvious in the first verse and your believe in God is equally brought to light in the latter part of the last verse. Could it be an indication that, God is the Alpha and the Omega, and that He is the solution to our anxiety? I suspect so! The internal rhymes and the humour you used add special flavour to your poem. What am finding difficult to believe is whether indeed William Shakespeare ever longed to write haiku blooming into verse, Verse into sonnets, or Brian wants to convert Shakespeare's sonnets into haikus? ha! I am personally excited about the fact that, you still believe in God despite all the mind playing games. Keep writing, fantastic verses!
Mix of divinity with hedonism; good game.
