Phase In Transience Poem by Colonel Muhamad Khalid Khan

Phase In Transience

Rating: 5.0

Phase in Transience
My beloved considers me a worthless being
Unless I offers her a precious diamond ring
She looks down upon like an ordinary thing
What she desires from where to take to bring

I lost my health in service of family and State
For which no one wants to give me the rebate
How can I complain to any one else but fate
Only friend left is my God so merciful, great

Ups and downs are part of life to test to grow
My love is a sweet deep stream in which I flow
Time either will save me or will make me blow
My pure heart will make me shine and to glow

I decided to opt for patience and perseverance
To accept will of God will give me the brilliance
He will overcome all the hurdles and hindrances
I do hope and believe this is a phase in transience

A wonderful write. The ups and downs of life brilliantly captured in a smooth flow of words.
